Bahadur Shah Zafar was the last Mughal emperor.

His full name was Mirza Abu Zafar Sirajuddin Muhammad Bahadur Shah Zafar. 

He was also known as Bahadur Shah II.

He was born on October 24, 1775, in Delhi.

He was the son of Akbar Shah II and Lal Bai.

He was proclaimed the emperor of the Mughal Empire following the death of his father, Akbar Shah II.

He was 62 years old when he became king.

During his reign, Bahadur Shah Zafar was mostly a figurehead and had limited political power.

He was a renowned Urdu poet, and he was known for his love for literature and art.

He was also a calligrapher and musician.

He is known for his role in the revolt of 1857.

Bahadur Shah Zafar was one of the central figures in the 1857 uprising against the British East India Company.

He was exiled to Rangoon (Yangon) in present-day Myanmar after the failed uprising.

He died in Rangoon on November 7, 1862.
