Bhaskaracharya was an Indian mathematician and astronomer who lived in the 12th century.

He is also known as Bhāskara II. 

He was born in a small village called Vijjadavida in Maharashtra, India.

It is believed he was born in 1114. 

He was one of the greatest mathematicians of his time. 

Bhaskaracharya’s most famous work is the Siddhanta Shiromani, a treatise on mathematics and astronomy. 

He also wrote another treatise named Karaṇā Kautūhala.  

He also wrote several other important works on topics such as trigonometry, algebra, and calculus.  

Bhaskaracharya was a respected scholar during his time and his work influenced many mathematicians and astronomers who came after him.  

He is often referred to as Bhaskara II to distinguish him from the earlier mathematician Bhaskara I.

Bhaskaracharya’s legacy continues to inspire and influence mathematicians and scientists to this day.
