Isaac Newton was an English mathematician, physicist, author and astronomer.
Isaac Newton was born on 4th January 1643 in Lincolnshire, England.
His father’s name was Isaac Newton and his mother’s name was Hannah Ayscough.
He was named after his father, who died three months before his birth.
When he was three, his mother remarried.
He was raised by his maternal grandmother.
His mother wanted him to become a farmer.
Newton never married.
He discovered gravity and the three laws of motion.
He also built the first working reflecting telescope.
He was the first individual to develop calculus.
He is considered one of the greatest scientists of all time.
He died on 31 March 1727 at the age of 84.
