Ramakrishna Paramahansa was a prominent Indian mystic and spiritual leader. 

His real name was Gadadhar Chattopadhyaye.  

He was born on February 18, 1836, in the village of Kamarpukur, West Bengal, India.

His father’s name was Khudiram Chattopadhyaya. 

His mother’s name was Chandramani Devi.  

Ramakrishna’s spiritual journey began at a young age.

He dedicated his life to God. 

He was a devotee of Goddess Kali.   

He practised various religious traditions, including Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity, and attained deep spiritual experiences in each. 

Ramakrishna’s teachings emphasized the presence of the divine in all beings. 

His most famous disciple was Swami Vivekananda, who later established the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission in his honour. 

He passed away on August 16, 1886, in Kolkata, West Bengal.
