Kanha National Park is one of the tiger reserves of India. 

Kanha National Park is also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve. 

It is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

It is the largest tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh. 

Kanha National Park was created on 1 June 1955 and was designated a tiger reserve in 1973. (1)

It has diverse species of animals and birds.

This park is spread over a vast area.

There are about 300 species of birds in the reserve. 

The park has a significant population of the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, dhole, sloth bear, Bengal fox and Indian jackal.  

Kanha National Park is also known for its significant population of deer, including the rare swamp deer called “barasingha.” 

It is the largest national park in central India. 

It is spread over two districts of Madhya Pradesh – Mandla and Balaghat.
